“Maybe I do want to look at you a little more.” Sean mimics her arm crossing.

“I know a landlord who owes me a favour.” *Conrad puts his hands in his coat pocket.* “Also got a job lined up so.”

“You should join the guild too!” Roman says. “Do you know magic?”

“Fine.” She motions toward the door. “Lead the way.”

“Just showed you that didn’t I? I don’t know, make a lot of money at the guild?” *Conrad asks.*

Roman nods. “I did, then it was stolen.” // Sean makes his way over to the bathroom, he opens it up. Rather large, of course. A bathtub in the corner, that’s also a shower. The walls are white and the colors of the towels are black and gold.

“Couldn’t hurts to try something new I guess.” *Conrad says this but the knot in his stomach says otherwise.* “Lead me there.”

Roman smiles. “Right now? Sure!” She begins to head to the guild.

*Conrad gulps when Magnolia comes into view. Maybe he shouldn’t have come back. He looks around the familiar streets.* “Hasn’t changed.”

Clark eagerly steps toward the shower and turns it on, placing her hand under the water to test its warmth.

“So why’d you leave?” Roman asks. // Sean stands behind her, watching. Up and down.

“I...needed a change of pace I guess.” *Conrad puts it plainly.* “Lost my job and didn’t feel like dealing with it.”

“Understandable.” She enters the guild.

*Conrad looks around the guild as he enters..* “Woah.”

“You want to talk to Griffin. He’s the guy with the bandage wrapped around his eyes. “

“Uh...alright.” *Conrad goes over to Griffin.*

Roman follows him to Griffin.

*Griffin and Conrad exchange a few words about Conrad’s name and magic before Conrad looks at Roman.* “I don’t trust him yet. He can stick around but he won’t be a full member until he successfully does a few jobs.”

Laya sits on at a table in the guild strumming a guitar.//Ivy sighs. She follows in pursuit.

Roman frowns. “What? But Griffin you never done that with me or any of the other recent members.”

“Not all of you are Conrad Barnes.” *Griffin responds.* “I know who you are kid.” *Conrad clenches his teeth.* “So you know me? Don’t worry about that.”

"Conrad?" Laya lifts her head.

“What the fuck is going on?” Roman blinks.

“Sorry. Roman, I’m Conrad Barnes. A kind of notorious musician around these parts.” *Conrad says.*

Laya gets to her feet swinging her guitar on her back. She stands behind them listening to Griffin and the others.
